Addendum to our books

The examples provided in ADO.NET and ADO Examples and Best Practices for VB Programmers (Second Edition) have been tuned, corrected, re-commented and otherwise updated to reflect changes in the latest VS .NET service pack. These can be downloaded from the Apress site.

The following code was left out of ADO Examples and Best Practices or was incorrect in some way. 

• Chapter 4, page 47 of ADO Examples and Best Practices (ADOEBP) mentions a utility "ConnErrTrap.EXE". It got left off of the CD, but you can download it from here: ConnectionErrorLog.zip
   
• ADOEBP, Chapter 9, page 285 refers to POSTEXAMPLE1.HTML and SIMPLEASP.ASP and on page 292 the code refers to RECORDSETXML.XSL. These were omitted but can be downloaded from Asp.zip.
   
• ADOEBP discusses Server-side ASP code in Chapter 9. The following file contains the Update code discussed. UpdateASP.zip
