The Seldith
Chronicles

The 'Seldith' are a clan of forest elves no taller than a mushroom. The live in the woods all around us--or at least that's what they tell me. These Seldith elves are unique in that their clans worship The Truth. They maintain an enormous Book of Truth which catalogs all know facts gathered over the millennia. Their pages include stories of their earliest existence and first-hand accounts of their exploits as well as the laws by which they are to live. The Seldith believe that if something's not in The Book of Truth, it does not exist.

The first book in the series is The Owl Wrangler. It's a story about Hisbil, the son of Gollsaer, his clan's Owl Wrangler. When Gollsaer mysteriously disappears,  Hisbil must take on his father's perilous duty or face exile from the clan. Trying to clear his father’s name, Hisbil gets help from his pesky little sister, who can heal with a touch, a pretty and clairvoyant classmate, and an exiled clansman whose motives are far from pure. Armed with little more than a wand and a spell he’s never used, Hisbil and his Seldith cohorts endure a harrowing odyssey of danger, deception and battle until Hisbil finally discovers the real truth about his calling, his father and his Seldith clan's Book of Truth.
